This weekend we are honored to be visited by performance collective Silver Lake Ghosts. 👻 The ghosts will amble about, swaying and moaning in our faces. This performance piece is *commentary*, which we love. 🥰 (Please do not photograph the Ghosts as they are meant to be etherial beings that do not exist on our corporeal plane) 🚫📸

We are overcome that Garth Monroe of Venice’s Stiff Denim will be at the SLGF this weekend. Monroe says of the material for his jackets and pants: “It’s coarse, it absorbs all light, and it’s really stiff. It’s like wearing dry wall, and people love it.” Monroe’s recent Joshua Tree pop-up (during the government shutdown) was attended by both Jon Favreau’s and sold out fast, so make sure to come early this weekend (even though Monroe will show up whenever he wants, if at all).

We are so open-minded this weekend to include new community-retailer Unemployed Eastside Fathers, a collective of unemployed fathers from the local areas. 👱‍♂️ Says Co-Creator Jim Brucious: “We take our kids to school, then sit outside at a coffee shop in our very dark jeans and loose sweaters just hanging out.
